Door Supervisor Refresher Course

Unit 1 content: Conducting effective searches, keeping vulnerable people safe, recognising terror threats, safeguarding public from spiking incidents. Unit 2 content: Introducing restrictive & non-restrictive interventions, hazards an reducing risks around physical intervention and actions to take after physical intervention has taken place.

  • Unit 2: Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry (Refresher)
  • Unit 3: Application of Physical Intervention Skills (Refresher)

Assessment

  • Exam Types: Practical assessments and 2 exams (MCQs)
  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Duration: guided learning hours: 21
  • Grading: 71% PASS RATE (unit 1: 25/35); 80% PASS RATE (unit 2: 24/30)
  • Requirements:
    • ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS (E.G. ESOL LEVEL 1
    • FUNCTIONAL SKILLS LEVEL 1)
    • EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK CERTIFICATE
    • ACTION COUNTER TERRORISM E-LEARNING CERTIFICATES.
  • Requirement Details: All students are expected to complete ACT awareness e-learning and ACT security e-learning certificates before the course as part of your home learning as well as a self study workbook. Once you have completed your registration you will be provided with all the information and workbooks to complete.

First Aid

Since April 2021 it has been mandatory that all learners who are taking the Door Supervisors training will have to show a First Aid Certificate (at least a Level 2). Please see our courses details for the First Aid course. We look forward to helping you achieve your qualification. Our training centre has a friendly environment and expert instructors who will help you prepare for your tests. We Provide integrated First Aid course with our refresher courses.
