Since April 2021 it has been mandatory that all learners who are taking the Door Supervisors training will have to show a First Aid Certificate (at least a Level 2). This qualification enables learners to act as a first aider within their workplace in line with First Aid at Work Health and Safety Regulations.

Every 3 years security guards need to renew their licence if they are door supervisors, security guards or CCTV operators. Course fee includes first aid The course units will differ depending on which licence needs upgrading.
